Social Enterprise West Midlands are currently recruiting a Business Services Assessor (�26,706) and a Training & Capacity Needs Assessor (�26,706)

Social Enterprise West Midlands is the regional voice for social enterprise, aiming to promote and foster a strong, visible and sustainable sector in the region.

A key element of SEWM�s work is the establishment of a Social Enterprise Centre of Expertise (CoE). The CoE aims to increase the extent and performance of the social enterprise sector through improving access, awareness and credibility of mainstream business support and to develop the capability of specialist providers.

Business Services Assessor
�26,706 (APR pending) plus 8% pension contribution
The post is to improve the integration of social enterprise start-up, support and development advice and support within mainstream business support
providers � primarily Business Link West Midlands � through analysing
their activities in collaboration with providers and beneficiaries. You will
evaluate the business support provided to social enterprises and groups
aiming to establish such businesses, monitoring the impact of business
support provision and recommending areas for improvement.

Training & Capacity Needs Assessor
�26,706 (APR pending) plus 8% pension contribution
This post is to identify capacity within those business information and advice
delivery organisations working to provide a range of services to existing, startup and emerging social enterprises and to work to address these gaps through co-ordinating appropriate capacity building advice and training. You will set up a methodology for the systematic analysis of business advice skills and identify capacity development and training needs within organisations. You
will work with agencies to devise approaches to building up their capacity and
identify a range of appropriate providers of actions to meet those needs.
